The launch of The Ground Between: Anthropologists Engage Philosophy by Veena Das, Michael Jackson, Arthur Kleinman, Bhrigupati Singh was held at India International Centre on 18 July 2014. The release function was followed by a panel discussion titled ‘Can Philosophy Help Us Lead a Good Life?’ The panellists for the occasion were (from left to right) Professor Dipankar Gupta, Distinguished Professor and Director, Center for Public Affairs and Critical Theory, Shiv Nadar University; Professor Veena Das, one of the volume editors and Krieger-Eisenhower Professor of Anthropology, Johns Hopkins University.
