• Navigate to the webpage of the book/product you would like to order.
• Click on the Add to Cart button. You will be asked to provide shipping country since we may not have territorial rights to distribute the title you require to the country you want to ship to.

The cart will be shown each time you add a book. Click on Continue shopping to add more books/products to your basket.

• After adding all the books you wish to purchase, click Order to view the invoice.
• Review your order details and click Confirm Order to complete the order. You will be asked to enter billing and shipping details. Click on Save & Continue to proceed to the Payment page.
• You will be automatically redirected to the Payment gateway page. Please select the payment method and provide the required details to complete the order. If the details provided by you are correct, your order will be successfully recorded and an email confirming the order will be sent to the email address you have provided. In case, your payment is unsuccessful, you will receive an email with the payment status indicated as Pending/Failed.

All valid orders will be invoiced by The Bookpoint (India) Private Limited. The books you order will be dispatched to your shipping address in 7 working days from the date of receipt of payment. Dispatch of orders outside India may take 10–15 working days from the date of receipt of payment.

• Within India: Seven to twelve working days after payment has been received
• Rest of the World: Fifteen to twenty working days after payment has been received.

Our replacement policy covers only those books which are damaged in transit. In such cases, either another copy of the book, if available, will be sent to you or a refund of the amount charged minus the handling charges (10%) will be made. The request for replacement of damaged books must reach us within 15 days of delivery, after which the request will not be entertained.

• in case of three failed delivery attempts by the courier.
• in case the recipient refuses to accept the parcel.

You may cancel an order any time before it is dispatched. The order cannot be cancelled after the books have been dispatched.

To cancel an order, please send an email quoting the order number and with the subject ‘Cancellation’ to the.bookpoint@orientblackswan.com.

If we are unable to service your order either in part or in full, the amount charged for the un-serviced part or in full (inclusive of shipping charges, if any) will be refunded to you.

Our shipments are carefully inspected before dispatch from our premises.

Replacements will be provided only in the following cases:

• books that are damaged in transit
• books with missing or blank pages
• incorrectly shipped books

The replacement request must be sent to us within 15 days of your  receiving the consignment.

• Do not click on links in emails or on referral websites to visit the online shopping site. Always type the URL in the address bar of the browser to visit the website.
• Do not enter your confidential account information such as Credit Card Numbers, Expiry Date, CVV values, etc in any pop-up windows.
• If you are a frequent online shopper, signup for Verify by Visa and Master Card secure code program.
• Check for the padlock symbol on the webpage before furnishing your Credit Card Numbers, Expiry Date, PIN and CVV values, etc to make payments.
• Make note of the transaction IDs for future reference incase of disputes.
• Check your account statements regularly and bring any fraudulent transaction to the notice of your bank.
