The Politics of Climate Change and the Global Crisis by Praful Bidwai was released in Bengaluru at Crossword Bookstore, Residency Road, on 30 November 2011.

Chandrashekar, Chairman, Bangalore Climate Change Action Plan for Karnataka and former Chairman, Karnataka Legislative Council; senior journalist and environmental campaigner Nagesh Hegde; and Prof. Sanjay Biswas, Emeritus Professor at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. Media personality Vasanthi Hariprakash compèred the event.
