As India navigates its way from the margins of global politics to its very centre, the Strategic Studies Series will take a comprehensive look at relations and issues in South Asia and beyond spanning political, economic and socio-cultural realms. The aim is to explore the relationship between politics and the multiple dimensions of power. Defining strategic studies in its broadest sense, it will focus on contemporary trends in India and the region, using historical narrative where required to provide context, and will include both theoretical and policy-oriented writings directed towards fostering rigorous scholarship. This series will comprise research monographs and edited volumes that will appeal to a wide audience of students as well as the worldwide community of South Asian scholars and practitioners.
