How to order

»To order books on our website

  1. Navigate to the webpage of the book you would like to order.
  2. Click on the Add to Cart button.You will be asked to provide shipping country since we may not have territorial rights to distribute  the title you require to the country you want.

The cart will be shown each time,  you add a book.Continue shopping to add more books to your basket.

  1. After adding all the books you wish to purchase to your shopping cart, click Order to view the invoice.
  2. Review your order details and click Confirm Order to complete the order. You will be asked to enter billing & shipping details. Click on Save & Continue to proceed to the Payment page.
  3. You will be automatically redirected to the payment gateway page. Please provide your card details (card number, CVV number, card expiry date, etc.) to complete the order.If the details provided by you are correct, your order will be successfully recorded   and an  email confirming the order will be sent to the  email address you have provided. In case,  your payment is unsuccessful,  you will receive an email with the payment status indicated as Pending/Failed.

All valid orders viced by The Bookpoint (India) Private Limited.The books you have ordered will be dispatched to your shipping address in 7 working days. (Deliveries outside India may  10–15 working days.)

Delivery and shipping policy

Delivery period:

  •   Within India: Dispatch will take place within 7 working days, from the date of receipt of payment.
  •   Rest of the world: Dispatch  will take place within 10–15 working days, from the date of receipt of payment.


You may track your order using the consignment number provided to you.

Note: You may be subject to import duties and taxes on certain items, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Refund and cancellation policy

You may cancel an order any time before it is dispatched. The order cannot be cancelled after the books have been dispatched.

If we are unable to service your order either in part or in full, the entire amount charged for the un-serviced part or full (inclusive of shipping charges, if any) will be refunded to you. 

Note: The amount paid will not be refunded

  •  in case of three failed delivery attempts by the courier.
  •  in case the recipient refuses to accept the parcel.

Our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our premises. 

Replacements will be provided only in the following cases—

  • • books that are damaged in transit
  • • books with missing or blank pages
  • • incorrectly shipped books

Any books of this nature that need replacement must be sent to us within 15 days of your  receiving the consignment.

How do we use the information we collect from you?
When you sign up for our e-Notices service, we need only an email address to send you the information you have requested.We may also use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important functionality changes to our website, new services, and special offers we think you will find valuable. If you do not wish to receive this information, please send an email to with the subject ‘Unsubscribe’ to change your preferences.
How customers can protect themselves on online-transactions?
  1. Always shop or make payments through trusted / reputed websites and bookmark those sites if you use them regularly.
  2. Ensure that the URL of the website is correct by verifying it in the address bar of your computer browser.
  3. Do not click on links in emails or on referral websites to visit the online shopping site. Always type the URL in the address bar of the browser to visit the website.
  4. Do not enter your confidential account information such as Credit Card Numbers, Expiry Date, CVV values, etc on any pop-up windows.
  5. If you are a frequent online shopper, signup for Verify by Visa and Master Card secure code program.
  6. Check for PAD LOCK symbol on the webpage before furnishing your Credit Card Numbers, Expiry Date, PIN and CVV values, etc to make payments.
  7. Make note of the transaction IDs for future reference incase of disputes.
  8. Check your account statements regularly and bring any fraudulent transaction to the notice of Bank.
  9. Do not respond to emails seeking your confidential account information that try to lure you with offers, jobs or prizes etc.
